Amendment to new Regulations
The Minister has introduced two new sets of waste management regulations.
The first of these is
S.I. 86 of 2008
Waste Management (Facility Permit & Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
These Regulations amongst other things defer the introduction of the commencement of the Waste Management (Facility Permit & Registration) Regulations (S.I. 821 of 2007) from the 31st of March 2008 until the 1st June 2008. They also correct certain errors and omissions as well as modifying the range of activities which are subject to the 2007 regulations.

The second set of regulations are:
S.I. 87 of 2008
Waste Management (Collection Permit) (Amendment) regulations 2008
These Regulations amongst other things defer the introduction of the commencement of the Waste Management (Collection Permit) Regulations (S.I. 820 of 2007) from the 31st of March 2008 until the 1st June 2008. They also correct certain errors and omissions.
